# Category Tags

Category tag catalog for classifying inventory items

## GET /api/v1/category-tags

List category tags

Get all global category tags. These are system-defined categories used when creating inventory items. For user-created tags, see the Custom Tags endpoints.

**Available types:**
- `CATEGORY_PRIMARY` — Top-level categories (e.g. Food, Drinks)
- `CATEGORY_SECONDARY` — Sub-categories (e.g. Starters, Mains, Beer)
- `CATEGORY_TERTIARY` — Third-level categories for finer grouping

Tags are hierarchical: secondary tags have a `parentId` pointing to a primary tag, and tertiary tags point to a secondary tag.

**Permissions:** 🔵 `inventory.read`

Query parameters:
- `type` ("CATEGORY_PRIMARY" | "CATEGORY_SECONDARY" | "CATEGORY_TERTIARY", optional) — Filter by tag type. If omitted, returns all types.
